PEBL was asked to lead the process for Crowne Plaza Hotels to envision, design, construct and furnish a brand new guestroom concept for their hotel brand. This included improving all possible aspects of guestrooms and addressing the major guest complaints about their portfolio of hotels. The typical hotel in the Crowne Plaza brand was built new as a full service hotel but as another brand. Hilton hotels, Sheraton hotels, Holiday Inn or Holiday Inn Select hotels, Marriott hotel and the like.

Most common guest complaints we addressed included:

• noise from the hallway and the highway

• noise from adjacent rooms (TV's and headboard)

• improving the vantage point to the TV from the bed

• improved workspaces

• better room lighting

and providing the Crowne Plaza brand with a distinctive and unique guestroom layout that sets it apart within the industry.
